June Gloom. It's a phrase that describes those cloudy days at the beach early in summer and the latest EP from Coyote Beach. Drenched in a sea of reverb and distortion, the guitars and omnichords are propelled by a driving rhythm section with yelps and dark lyrics floating just above the surface. Crawling out of the briny shores of Norfolk and Hampton, these tracks will evoke the bummer of a summer facing death, lost love, and total nuclear annihilation.
